PRINCE2® Foundation Course
Purpose and target audience
To provide project staff with a thorough understanding of the PRINCE2® method and enable them to pass the PRINCE2® Foundation exam.
Detailed objectives
To ensure participants,
- gain a thorough understanding of the entire PRINCE2® method
- learn how to tailor and apply PRINCE2® to real life projects
- become fully familiar with the structure and content of the PRINCE2® manual
- pass the PRINCE2® Foundation exam.
Duration
Three days.
Materials
Each candidate will receive a personal copy of the official PRINCE2® manual “Managing Successful Projects with PRINCE2®” and a copy of all training materials.
Course structure and approach
The entire PRINCE2® syllabus will be covered. The course consists of presentations, discussions, individual and group exercises, and exam practice. The official PRINCE2® manual is fully integrated into the course. PowerPoint presentations provide an overview and candidates are directed to the manual for supporting detail.
The one-hour multiple-choice Foundation exam is held on the afternoon of the third day.
Participant numbers
The course can be conducted with any number of participants up to a maximum of sixteen.
