PRINCE2® Practitioner Course
Purpose and target audience
To provide current and aspiring Project and Team Managers with an in-depth understanding of the PRINCE2® method and to prepare them for the Practitioner exam.
Detailed objectives
To provide participants with the opportunity to,
- further their understanding and their ability to apply key aspects of PRINCE2®
- understand the nature of the Practitioner exam and the required exam technique
- practice exam questions under exam conditions.
Duration
One day plus the following morning for the exam.
Materials
The main materials required by Practitioner candidates are provided as part of the Foundation course. A small amount of additional material will be provided.
Course structure and approach
The Practitioner course builds upon learning from the Foundation course. (A pass at Foundation level is a pre-requisite for sitting the Practitioner exam.) In addition to allowing the candidates to prepare effectively for the Practitioner exam, it provides them with an opportunity to develop their understanding of the practical application of the method.
One full day of learning and revision is followed by the three-hour scenario based Practitioner exam the following morning.
Participant numbers
The course can be conducted with any number of participants up to a maximum of sixteen.
