Introduction to Quality Management
Purpose and target audience
To provide participants with a thorough understanding of the basic principles, concepts and techniques of quality management. The course assumes no prior knowledge of quality management and is suitable for the complete beginner.
Detailed objectives
To ensure participants,
- understand the basic concepts of quality, including assurance and control
- understand what ISO 9000 is (and what it is not)
- learn some basic quality review techniques
- learn some basic quality improvement techniques
- learn how a well thought out approach to quality can improve their working lives
- know where to look for further information and learning.

One day.
Materials
Each participant will be provided with a learning pack to support the presentation.
Course structure and approach
The course consists of presentations, discussions and exercises.

The course can be conducted with any number of participants up to a maximum of sixteen.
